The new auto-enhance feature will enhance photo lighting, shadow etc, but users will be able to adjust the enhancement if they don’t like what it has done to the photo. The slider allows users to tone down or up the enhancement depending on the correction. Users can also use the original photo for uploading. There are several filters available for enhancing photos but this feature is a step ahead and auto-enhances your photos, so users don’t have to spend lot of time in uploading pictures. The feature can be a great time saver for frequent uploaders of photos to Facebook.

This feature looks familiar because it is available on Google+ for more than a year. Google+ also auto-enhances photos. Google+’s auto-awesome is particularly interesting and most of the times gets it right. We have to see how this feature compares to that Google’s.

Facebook auto-enhances photos automatically, so if you don’t want this to happen and have your control on the photos you upload you can always disable the auto enhancing from the app setting sunder video and photos.
