The designs will explore the connection between metals and the urban landscape with the finalists’ work being showcased in a virtual sculpture park, initially as part of metal week (1-3 September 2015) and then regionally until 15 December 2015, before being fully fabricated and auctioned for the Ronald MacDonald House charities.
There are two entry categories -one for Professional designers and one for Emerging Designers and finalists will be chosen by professional artist and sculptor, James Wright. Each category includes a prize for 1st place of $1000, and a runner up prize of $500.
There’s no time to muck around as the competition closes at 5pm on Saturday – August 15.
