Amélie Ravalec’s film follows the evolution of underground techno music from the perspective of the two cities, and features DJs, producers, label managers, promoters, record shops and distributors that have stayed true to its original spirit. Pan Daijing follows with a live sound art performance that dominates audiences with spectral ambience and dark noise. German producer, DJ and visual artist Grebenstein’s industrial techno is “loaded with sinister atmospherics, hazy ritual portent… that throws the listeners into a trance and aims to lead them to the purification of soul”. He put out his debut self-titled 12” on Downwards Records in 2014. Last year also saw LA producer Draveng release on Allergy Season. Draveng will finish the event with an adventurous live set that will make use of his inexhaustible energy and aptitude for the absurd.
